Delivery and Returns

Delivery

United Kingdom

Free delivery on all orders over £40.00 including VAT to UK mainland except for:

a) some large and heavy furniture and equipment;

b) delivery to the following postcode prefixes: Any Channel Island Postcode, Any Isle of Man Postcode, PO30 - PO41, IV1 - IV36, IV40 - IV49, IV51 - IV56, PH17 - PH26, PH30 - PH44, PH49 - PH50, PA20 - PA49, PA60 - PA78, KW1 - KW17, KA26 - KA28, PL10 - PL19, PL22 - PL35, TR21 - TR25, ZE1 - ZE3, Any HS Postcode, Any BT Postcode, 

c) any delivery made on Saturdays or at a specifically allocated time upon request;

The exceptions to free delivery above will be quoted at the time of order for large furniture and equipment, Saturdays or at a specifically allocated time upon request.  For the exempt postcodes the charge for delivery is £6.00 for orders below £100.00 and is free delivery on orders over that amount.

Please state any special delivery requirements at time of ordering for us to give you a quotation.

For orders less than £40.00 including VAT there will be a standard delivery charge of £3.00 including VAT.

The Buyer shall ensure presence at the delivery address to sign for the delivery. The Buyer shall always check the number of parcels received upon delivery and sign the Consignment as ‘Unchecked’ so as to confirm that the items have not been inspected in respect of any damages and /or missing items. If the parcel appears damaged, the Buyer shall sign the Consignment as ‘Damaged’ and inform the Seller within 24 hours of receipt of goods.

Europe

Orders upto £150.00 will be charged at £10.00.  Orders over £150.00 will be free delivery.  Delivery will be 3-5 working days from confirmation of order. * Orders can sometimes take upto 15 working days if held by your local customs department.  If you have not received your order by then, please contact us and we will track the item for you.

Parcel Force 24

Orders must be received before 4:30pm Monday to Friday, for next working day delivery. Next day delivery only applies to items that are in stock. The Seller can accept no responsibility for transport delays causing late delivery of items.

Next day delivery is available to UK Mainland only and with the exceptions of postcode prefixesdelivery to the following postcode prefixes: Any Channel Island Postcode, Any Isle of Man Postcode, PO30 - PO41, IV1 - IV36, IV40 - IV49, IV51 - IV56, PH17 - PH26, PH30 - PH44, PH49 - PH50, PA20 - PA49, PA60 - PA78, KW1 - KW17, KA26 - KA28, PL10 - PL19, PL22 - PL35, TR21 - TR25, ZE1 - ZE3, Any HS Postcode, Any BT Postcode.

The delivery charge for Parcelforce 24 is £6.95 inc VAT.

Dispatch

For stocked items Health and Beauty Online dispatches orders via Parcel Force and Royal Mail. Non stocked items will be sent directly from the supplier.

Unsuccessful Deliveries

If Parcel Force make an unsuccessful attempt to deliver to the specified delivery address a card will be left and a re-delivery attempt will be made the next working day. If still unsuccessful then the parcel will be left at the nearest depot for collection. If the parcel is not collected within 30 days then the parcel will be returned to Health and Beauty Online.

Overseas Orders

The Seller welcomes overseas orders. The Buyer shall pay for cost of carriage which will vary depending on destination and weight of parcel. When ordering goods for delivery outside Europe the Buyer may be subject to import duties, taxes and clearance charges, which will be the responsibility of the Buyer. The Seller shall only accept payment for any overseas orders by bankers’ drafts or CHAPS transfers to be made at the time of order. Certain products are restricted for sale in the UK and its Islands only and cannot be shipped to other Countries outside of these restrictions.

Next Day Delivery

Returns

Products purchased from Health and Beauty Online may be returned for the following reasons:

a) the product arrives faulty or damaged;

b) the product is incorrect due to a picking error;

c) the goods have been ordered in error.

If goods have been ordered in error or are not as expected, authorisation for returns must be requested from the Seller. No goods will be accepted back without a pre-authorisation number. Goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt, unused and in their original packaging. The Seller accepts no responsibility for lost parcels without a receipt of despatch. Failure to meet the above criteria may result in returned items being rejected.

Refunds on large, heavy, non-stocked items will be subject to a minimum 10% handling and inspection charge with the exception of fridges and lighting equipment which will incur a minimum 25% handling and inspection charge.

How to Return an Item

Exceptions to Returns

You may not return a non-faulty item if:

a) the product is a special manufactured or made to order product;

b) any pharmaceuticals.

Shortages, Damages and Claims

All claims for shortages or damages must be reported to the Seller within 1 working day of receipt of goods. The Seller will not entertain claims for consequential loss of business for any reason.
